scanner question

a friend has an old hp scanner. a lot of times it doesn't work or takes a long time. someone recommended cleaning the contacts. would this help and how do i do this? thanks

Hi DUSTIN,

Sounds like it's time to get another one. Older scannes were slow to begin with, and even cheap, but newer ones do a much better job. My old $600 was terrible compaired to a friends cheap $70 new one, and this was years ago.

As far as cleaning the contacts.... Don't know about any contacts to clean.
