What's the diff b/w a Intelli Explorer 2.0 and 3.0?

Hi, I'm planning to buy a new mouse, could anyone tell me what's the difference b/w the Microsoft Intelli Explorer 2.0 and the 3.0? There don't seem to be much physical difference to me.

thanks

I don't think there is a lot of difference. The newer ones have a higher scan rate. I'm not sure which generation the switch was made. I like the shape of the older original better than the newer ones.

The shape of the new 3.0 mice are more, "ergonimical" is how I would put it. This can be uncomfortable for some people though.

The 3.0 reads mouse movement at 3000 (or is it 6000?) times per sec, faster than the older version, wich I think is at 1500. This eliminates mouse lag. Plus some find it more comfortable.
It is an outstanding game mouse. Try to take mine away.....
