I am trying to help a friend with his computer and I need to find some drivers. These parts were given to him without any drivers or info. a driver for a us robotics modum. It's a ISA Sportster and the only numbers I see are model 0481 and the date of 1997.I think he said it was out of a old compac computer.
I also need drivers for an advansys pci scsi host adaptor and/or an Iomega jazjet pci scsi host adaptor. Anyone have any idea if and where these would be available. This is all the info I have on these parts. Thanks. Skeeter |

Try doing a google search if windows doesn't find drivers for it. I kind of think win98SE would.

You can see if one of the drivers on this page will help with the modem. There are several different versions on the page depending on which OS he's using. Just search for the Sportster 0481 and then find the one with the right OS beside it. Here's the link:
http://www.modem-drivers.com/companies/1104.htm edit: I just checked again, and way down on the list is a driver for that model and in parentheses it says ISA OEM. The date over at the right side is December 3, 1999. That should get you close to where its at in the list, or just use the "Find on this page" search in IE to find the words Sportster 0481 and its the last one it comes up with. hth

See if this is the Iomega driver you're needing.

Thanks Juppy! The link for the modem was just what I needed. As my friend uses Win98FE the other link won't help him. He just put together his system out of the remains of an old Compac(1997) and some other parts that he acquired. The computer he built while rather outdated doesn't work bad-he just needs a few drivers. But this should help on the modem problem. The other I don't feel is as necessary. It is for a jazdrive that is in his system.

Go to www.driverguide.com . Sign in is user=drivers password=all. There should be something there that will help with the drivers you are looking for.
