I have been looking for a good black 19" flat screen monitor to go with a new build. I do a lot of gaming and I would like to stay under 350 dollars. So far I have my eye on these two; (they are both sold at newegg if anyone wants to check them out)
Sony CPD-E 440B Black 19" CRT Hitachi Cm721fb 19" Flat-Faced CRT (Short Neck) Does anyone know if these monitors are any good? Suggestions for any other good black 19" flat screen monitors that are selling for under 350 dollars would be greatly appreciated. Thanks In Advance

SID,
Both of your picks look nice to me... Check out the ViewSonic P95F+B 19" CRT PerfectFlat Monitor - Retail for $300US (with shipping) at Newegg here. I have the Viewsonic P225fb 22", it's a great monitor and the 19" version is just as good! Happy holidays! Last edited by AzCoastie; 12-21-2002 at 10:21 PM. |

I like Sony's better than Hitachi's as a rule. They are very different monitors, try to look at both and see which you prefer. If you like the Sony look at some of the Mitsubishi's. They use the same tube in this price range. They can often be had cheaper as well.
