I don't like the look of the Microsoft one personally, but I guess that doesn't matter so much as to how it performs.

So why would you get a Logitech then if you think they're ugly and expensive?

I've always liked the MS mice over the cheaper Logitech because they're bigger and fit my hand better.

I highly recomend M$ hardware products. I have always used them and all my mice and keyboard have been reliable, though they are not cheap.

If only M$ software were as good as its hardware...

I bought 3 "Labtech" opticals (half the price of the MS and Logitech). They fit nice in the hand, have grey and dark blue colors, and work WAY better than any ball mouse

I use both Logitech and MS mice. Both have their good points. I recently bought a MS Optical Blue for my neice along with a PC that I built for her and she is quite happy with it. She is a tall girl (5'10 and only 15 y.o.!) She has long fingers and says the MS mouse fits her hand much better than her old WiseTech she had been using prior to the MS. MS Blue is a bit bigger and fits a bigger hand more comfortably. The one I own is USB with PS/2 adapter. Decent performance. The Staples stores in my area (northern NJ) are offering the MS Blue for a special price of $14.99.

I had the choise between the logitech and M$ mice and as much as I hate M$ I chose their mouse. After trying both I found that it was more accurate and I like the feel of it more. I think the logitech are more durable tho, our first M$ optical mouse stopped working after a year.

O
The thing is about Logitech mouse that I don't get,
why are their mouse so boring?
I mean most optical mouse manufacturers takes advantage of the red sensor and make the whole mouse glow(really good example,Apple Comp.),I have yet to see a Logitech mouse with visible glow...

I'd have to say the Logitech mice are very good, especially the combo they have with the wireless kybrd/mouse. They seem to be more ergonimic than the MS mice, although the MS mice are better suited for larger-handed people. I guess its just a matter of preference....

Good Luck,
