Why 400GB of space? Wait a year and get that at a reasonable price instead of spending at least $600 now. Don't spend your cash on a 2.8GHz+ processor when you can get a 2.4 for less than $200 and not notice much of a difference at all
If you're going Intel try this: Intel 2.4GHZ 533MHz FSB Asus P4PE/R/L Motherboard 512MB PC2700 DDR or 1GB if you want Radeon 9700 Pro 120GB WD SE W/8MB cache Lite-On 48x24x48 CDRW Lite-On 16x DVD Chieftec Case W/ Window w/o PSU Antec True Power 430W PSU Logitech Elite Cordless Keyboard & Mouse Hitachi 721F Monitor or Viewsonic P95F+ in Black or a 17" LCD Logitech Z560 speakers Plus floppy, round cables, cathode lighting. Roughly $2,000 if you go with a CRT. Spend the extra $500 on beer or you significant other. |

Well I plan on keeping some of the parts on my system now, like my 100gig harddrive. I really don't care much about the motherboard, because I there are cheaper ones available that can support my needs to the fullest. I'm am also open to an amd processor. But the space is important since I can fill my harddrive in 2 days
