PCI USB Card

I Installed a SIIG, Inc USB Dualport PCI card to day to give myself two USB ports. Installation seemed to go OK. When I look at the device in device manager USB controllers I see the big yellow icon next to the USB Root Hub. This leads me to believe there is a problem. When I look at properties of the USB Root Hub it says

"The NTKERN.VXD device loaders for this device could not load the device driver."

It says to fix try and update driver. When I try and update it tells me C;\Windows\INF\USB.INF best driver is installed already.

When I try and reinstall I get fatal error Blue Screen of Death.
"A fatel exception 0E has occurred at 0028:C026B3D1 in VXD NTKERN (06000005E1)

Is the PCI card I installed bad? Any ideas?

Exactly which card do you have? What OS are you using?
