Cooling Fan for Video Card
IS it possible to add a cooling fan to a video card that doesn't come with one already installed? I just upgraded my spare PC for Christmas, I got a used ATI Radeon 7000 64MB AGB 4x card at a remarkably low price ($30.00). My graphics on this PC are noticeably better. The card doesn't come with a cooling fan but since I
A: have developed an interest in gaming, I feel adding a cooling fan would be good protection for possible overheat situations ---- and -- B. Since I just put the whole works into a new "see-through" case, I think my system would look awesome with a cooling fan sitting atop my video card, even though it may not really need one and more importantly, since none of my friends or neighbors have cooling fans on their video cards (yeah, yeah I know, I gotta get out more often). |

Hi Wildnites,
Another option would be to install a slot fan directly under the video card to draw heat off the heatsink and blow it out the back of the case. Cricket
