Question on first bootup

Hi All,
Im getting ready to boot up a new build. Its been over a year since my first build,so I need to refresh my memory a bit.
Heres the question:
Do I need to install a cd rom driver directly after starting it up for the first time?
I will be installing Windows XP home edition.
System consist of:
ASUS A7N266-VM AA
AMD Athlon XP 1700
Western Digital 20gb 7200 rpm
256 mb Crucial DDR Ram
Memorex 48X cd rom(from an old system but still going strong)
Integraded Video and Sound(should be fine for the kids)

Any last minute tips before first start up with be appreciated.
Thanks.
Dave

Just change the bios to boot from the cd first, then put the win-xp cd in the cd-rom drive before you exit the bios and then the win-xp cd will start the setup....

Hi edge345
Thanks for your reply.
Would I install the motherboard drivers After WinXP is installed?
Just kinda confused on which cd to put in first.
Thanks again for your help.

if everything works fine then i would leave it be. Xp seems to have most of the up to date mobo drivers except for maybe the via 4 in 1.
