I picked up a Netgear RT-314 hub router combo to share the internet on my DSL connection. I did have ICS enabled using RASPPPOE and it worked great but this makes it much easier for everyone else to get on the web without having to switch on my system. EMS Computing has them for $149+ shipping, there are cheaper ones out there like the D-Link model(Access Micro $115) but I have had good success with Netgear products so I prefer them.

I just remembered that my ISP, Ameritech, offered to sell me a router when I first got my DSL for a mere $450, when I questioned the price I was told that it was a $600 value. I dind't bother to ask if it was a router/hub combo but I think not.
