changing hardrive to another puter

My business computer is a Pentium II. My personal computer is a Pentium III. I have bought a new Athlon motherboard, processor and fan. The new Athlon board will become my personal computer. I want to get rid of the Pentium II and make the Pentium III my business computer. I don't need fast for business. My questions are:

1: would it be better to take the hardrive out of the Pentium II and put it into the Pentium III or do a disk image?

2: the Pentium II hardrive has Windows XP on it, so when I move the hardrive to the Pentium III or even disk image, will I have to reactivate Windows XP?

3: Backup the Pentium II hardrive, wipe out the Pentium III hardrive and reinstall all the programs and then the backup for my files?

4: some other simpler easier way that I am overlooking.

1, move the drive over.
2, you'll probably have to reactivate it.
3, always better to do a fresh install.
4, nope.
