Spend the money and get a new quality power supply from Sparkle or Enermax. Most of even the cheapie cases are fine from the rigidity standpoint, but the power suppies in them are junk.
It is easy to change them out as all you do is unplug all the connectors and then remove it, to install the new one do it in reverse.

That's what I was thinking about a while ago, buying a new ps. I am buying a 104 or 149$ super quiet one next month.

Yup I'd go for the PS as well, easy enough to take out, just remove the two or three screws that attach it to the case, and remove any of it's power connectors from the motherboard and case.

Seems most cases now (apart from the top quality ones) ship with those crappy PSUs

Yep,

Don't restrict yourself by thinking you have to buy a case to get a good PSU. That's one of the main advantages of PCs - they're modular - you can add or change components to suit yourself.

Although, you can buy good cases with good PSUs, I have always preferred to buy them separately so I can choose exactly what I want. But that's just me.

I've also put a little guide in the Tips and Tricks section which you may find useful.

I shall try and find some pictorial references to go with it, over the next day or so.
