MY Temps

in my current machine (a P4 @ 14.ghz stock HSF and PSU fan.. no case fans...) temps using MBM5

my temps are

Idle

MB: 32C
CPU: 33C

Load

MB: 34C
CPU: 42C

on my new build (P4 @ 2.53ghz stock HSF, PSU fan, and 2 80mm case fans) just in the BIOS i get this temps. not even in WINDOWS!!

MB: 27C
CPU: 51C




*** is going on?? i have a P4PE mobo and i have heard that are naccurate in reading temps. but that is a big difference.. they arnt that inacurate are they?

I think you may need to reseat your heatsink. If you used artic silver or the like you will see when you remove the heatsink where it was making contact and probably where it wasn't as well.

ok so if i reseat it. do i just take it off and re-attach it? you cant really rotate it or anything..
