I am installing Windows 98 on a Compaq Pentium Computer. When I start copying files from the 98 CD-ROM, I get a "errorCD101: Cannot read from drive D". Any suggestions? Thanks!

could be a bad cd-rom
you could have a bad windows cd; it might have gotten scratched or damaged. You might want to pick up another copy of the OS disc.

You could also have a dirty or misaligned laser in the CD drive. Try a drive cleaning kit.
