I need a good modding case.

After looking over numerous cases and reviews I have decided I will try and mod my own case from a normal case. I need some hints on some nice medium priced case (60-100 w/ shipping) with a quality PSU that is good for modding. I plan on putting a Celtic Cross on the side with a window and a light (the celtic cross is my favorite symbol/icon). I will probably paint this too so I need to know what kind of paint it best. I have read some PC modding guides so I have a general idea of what to do. But if you have seen any guides that you think are excellant please give me the link. And I will gladly except any hints/tips you can give. Thanks. -Brad

Do you want a case with the light and window already on the side? Or do you want a case that doesn't have it and you want to put a case and light in?

Sorry, I didn't really understand what you meant :\

I want a case that has no light and no window that is easy to mod. I plan on adding a window and light when i have finished with the rest of the case.

Hi XRayGoGGleMan,

The Enlight 7250 is a nice case to work on. So are the InWin S508, InWin J508 and the AOpen HX-45A. All come with good quality power supplies.

why wouldnt you just get a case with a light adn a window so you wouldn't have to do it yourself? is it just the sheer thrill of doing it yourself?

I like these cases http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...ion=11-127-014 They are not all that expensive if you mess up on a mod (you can get the case in black too). Just add a good Antec, Enermax or Sparkle PSU and you're set.

I have an enlight 7237 - great for modding. I have only done a paint job on it however.

My friend put a window into his enlight 7237 with a big 120mm fan hole in it. It looks real nice.

I don't have any. I could ask him for one when he comes online.

Yeah, it's no big deal, but if he has 'em I'd sure like to see them.

The Enermax FS-710 is a great case that is of the antec/cheiftec style. I have same model in white and im going to get a zantec window kit from www.zxmods.com. This case costs 88.00 and it come with a REAL Enermax 330W P-4 PSU. None of that power-up bs. You can get this at www.newegg.com
