I have a 900 MHz AMD Thunderbird, Socket "A", in an A7V Mobo. I just moved my tower into a Tower Cabinet and I'm concerned about the temperature getting too hot. I'm trying to leave the front door open, and the back is open to the wall. I have a Tornado 1000 tower from 3Dcool.com.
How hot can the Mobo and CPU get??? So far I've reached a Mobo temp. of 95 F and a CPU temp. of 122.5 F Are they getting to hot????? Thanks |

Those temps are okay.
The cpu's maximum is set at about 90c. Ideal temps.should have the cpu between 35c-45c(the cooler the better) The mobo temp is okay as well. You may want to install a large fan on the back of the cabinet to aid in air flow. A box fan comes to mind. |
