Lite ON DVD/CD ROM drives
Hey all;
I've been looking at the various Lite-On drives on newegg. I'm having trouble figuring out the differences between many of them. For example: Model LTD-165H ($45) Model LTD-163D ($42) Model XJ-HD166S ($39.99) Model LTD-166S16X ($39.99) are all Lite-On 16X DVD / 48 X CD ROM drives. All are OEM. None of them are special colors or anything like that. I can't even find these models on Lite-On's website; they don't seem to have a DVD section under product listings. What's the deal? N. Walker |

The LTD-165H and LTD-163D look exactly the same. I can't see any difference. The LTD-166S16X and the XJ-HD166S, as far as I can tell, are also the same, but they have a lot less technical information.
I honestly have no idea what the difference could be. I'd just go with the cheapest one that is in stock.
