Heatsink Fans for CPU

I got a athlon 2000+ amd now I was thinkin of some Heatsink fans but which are silent and very efficient also if I add a pretty good quality Heatsink fan for my cpu would it help out my benchmarks results and would my computer feel better cooled.

if you got a bigger fan on a heatsink, the only thing it would do is improve your cooling and overall stability of the system, it would have no effect on your benchmarks.

if you got a better hsf that kept the CPU well cool and overclocked it, then you would notice a difference in benchmarks

i've never used a SPEEZE, so i dont know. do a google search for reviews on it and read some, newegg.com also sometimes have customer submitted reviews of things, so check that out too

its pretty quiet when it is going slow. the box rates it
20.5 cfm when the sensor is @ 20c and spinning at 1300 rpm w/ 17 dBA
75.5 cfm when the sensor is @55c and spinning at 4500 rpm w/ 48 dBA (pretty loud, like a vacuum)
i like it, but my case stays cool, so it never gets going really fast i guess

it comes with a thermal sensor that you can put somewhere, and it will automatically go faster if the sensor gets hotter, or it comes with a little rheobus thing (like a dimmer switch) that you can set to whatever speed you want

sounds pretty good, but i've heard that the volcano 7 plus is about the best so far by thermaltake....it cools about the same as the 'cano 9 i guess

vantec makes a good silent fan, but i dont know about their heatsinks. a good silent combo would be the thermalright slk-800 and a vantec stealth fan or an alpha pal (if your mobo would take it) and a vantec stealth. the Pals are pretty expensive tho, and will only fit on certain mobo's

A really good combination for cooling and quiet operation would be the Thermalright SK-7 or SLK-800 with a Panaflo L1A or L1J 80mm fan (these are the low speed models)...in fact, almost any heatsink that's designed to be used with a 80mm fan will be much more quiet than a heatsink using a 60mm fan. Larger fins means the fan can spin slower (less noise) and still move lots of air. I think the Thermaltake Volcano 7 and 9 series heatsinks use 80mm fans.
