Question

I'm looking for informations about the ISA interface card manufactured by MUSTEK : AB306N I/F CARD REV.A .
It's an interface for my scanner Mustek model 600 2 N. I think it's a specific fast parallel interface which uses an 26 pins in three rows connector.
The trouble is that I want to use my scanner withh an new mother card which has only PCI slots. A PCI interface card is not available for this scanner and Mustek doesn't want to give informations about this ISA card.
Informations about the data transfert protocole are also not available so I can't try to build my own PCI or LPT interface.

1. Have you tried using the scanner through the standard parallel port on the motherboard?

2. Are you sure the scanner is not SCSI? If it is, you can get a PCI SCSI card.

3. If neither of these work, consider selling the scanner and getting a new USB scanner - they are very inexpensive now and even an entry level model is as good as or better than your discontinued model.
