Sleeve Bearing FAns
So my computer works, and it runs fine when i built it. Of course, the parts arent exactly what i want. You see, i noticed yesterday that the fans are of the sleeve bearing type. how long do they usually last before being in danger of dying? (Yep, even the PSU!)

Sleeve bearing fans are usually good for about 18 months.

It kind of depends on the quality of the fan the the environment it is in. I've seen some that have lasted a number of years and others die in less than one.

Sure - but ball bearing fans aren't much more expensive.
