Memory question

ok, I want to upgrade my memory so I have TWO sticks of 512 pc2700 instead of two sticks of 256. But heres my dilema. The memory I wanted to buy just a few minutes ago is not on THIS list as supported memory for my mobo. Now why wouldn't the memory I want work? Its made by the same brand just larger capacity and slower speed. I want to go from my Kingston 256 PC3200 to Kingston 512 pc2700.

I run my memory at sync anyway so I won't notice any decline in performance and I'll sell my PC3200.

Do ya'll think I'll be safe getting the 2700 or is that a bad idea?

Or I could just get another stick of the PC3200 256mb ram
Thanks

I'm running Kingston PC2700 on an Asus A7N8X Deluxe and it runs just fine. Go to the Kingston site. They list the asus board.
