Memory question
ok, I want to upgrade my memory so I have TWO sticks of 512 pc2700 instead of two sticks of 256. But heres my dilema. The memory I wanted to buy just a few minutes ago is not on THIS list as supported memory for my mobo. Now why wouldn't the memory I want work? Its made by the same brand just larger capacity and slower speed. I want to go from my Kingston 256 PC3200 to Kingston 512 pc2700.
I run my memory at sync anyway so I won't notice any decline in performance and I'll sell my PC3200. Do ya'll think I'll be safe getting the 2700 or is that a bad idea? Or I could just get another stick of the PC3200 256mb ram Thanks |

I'm running Kingston PC2700 on an Asus A7N8X Deluxe and it runs just fine. Go to the Kingston site. They list the asus board.
