Money
Does anyone know of any way I can make money at home. I am super quick in the asimilation of knowledge and am very good with electonics. I have a little capital and wouldn't mind building custom computers or help redo web-sites. I saw a link in here somewhere for writers for this site that might eventually lead to pay and I was wondering if they need an editor (like for spelling and concise, easy to understand articles). Alot of the articles have spelling errors or are hard to follow and need to be edited. Don't get me wrong I love this site but I have unlimited time and need to earn money. I live in Southern Ca if anyone knows of any jobs there also.

It's very difficult to find a good way to make money from home. Everyone wants to do it but very few people know of a good method. Thus, there are hundreds of scam artists searching for people in your position. My advice: come up with your own idea. If someone is trying to sell you an idea for a home-based business you should realize that the money is in selling the business concept to others, not using it yourself. If someone else's idea for making money from home was such a good idea they'd never let you in on it, they'd be using it for themself.
with that in mind, ebay is a good place to start for many types of home based businesses. it allows you to reach a wide audience right from your home without many of the worries you might have otherwise (marketing for one). good luck! |

You want to get paid to be a spellcheacker?? LoL, sorry bud, but Microsoft Word has a little extra on it that would make the odds of you getting paid to spellchecker....impossible
![]() You could always just get a little rep around the hood, thats what I did, when I first started learning about PC's I worked on a few friends PCs for practice, and eventually got em working good, and word of mouth kicked, I got these nice little business cards(just for joke really, but they work) and I just pass them around, and people call me up, I take a look, try my hardest to figure it out on my own...and if that dont work...Its right back here to ask the all knowing Mech Goers...these guys are good

Im telling you man..they work, it started out as a gag where I used a program my dad was using to make business cards and I made a few little joke cards like "AVX HITMAN SERVICE" and Ill be damned if one of those cards didnt make it to the dean of my school and there was an anouncement saying that anyone caught distributing these cards would be expelled...that put an end to that REAL QUICK! Talk about taking a joke the wrong way though...jesus... but anyway, I gave a few of the PC repair cards too a few of my friends parents, asked them to pass them around if they didnt mind, and they did, and I have gotten about 17 or 18 side jobs from them...not much but hey, made like 300 bucks in all(they were easy fixes) or really just tutorials where I set peoples PC up for them, showed them what was what, and FREE TECH SUPPORT! hehe, thats always get em
