Mouse Problem
I've got a strange problem with my mouse. When I turn on the computer in the morning the mouse doesn't work. It doesn't come up with any error messages, it just doesn't work. If I reboot the computer it will work but sometimes it takes about 3 or 4 reboots. I've tried 3 different mice. I'm running Win 95 and the mouse is hooked up through the serial port. Please help.
Thanks |

Are you using a true serial mouse, or are you using a PS/2 mouse with a serial adapter? Those adapters are very iffy - some work, some don't.

If you are using a serial rodent, try moving it to the other serial port.
