suggestions on mouse purchase

i want a cordless mouse ,and need to know what are some good options on what to buy.i do some gaming, but not to much, and alot of surfing on the internet etc. my computer has enough nuts to support any kind of mouse i buy. using win. xp pro. the range isn't to important ,just would like to have some extra options on the mouse etc. the price isn't a issue.

I have always loved MS mice. If price is not an issue take a look at them.

Also, Logitech makes decent products.

For a CORDLESS mouse you cannot beat Logitech, better performance and doesn't eat batteries like a MickySoft one does.

I love my logitech mouse that came with my Elite Duo. It works great and barely ever have to change the mouse and it responds very well never twitching.

Logitech MX700. The receiver is also a cradle to charge its rechargeable battery.

glc beat me to it!! But here's another vote for the MX 700!! Feels good in the hand. Works great. And I've never ran out of battery power even with leaving out of the cradle for 5 - 6 days at a time.

I like my MS Intelimouse Explorer cordless. Very functional and it suits my needs. I just keep stocked up on batteries.

I have been using a wireless Logitech combo and neither the keyboard nor the mouse have run outta batteries since november.

How much time do they last? I use them over 8 hours a day and heavy use.

I picked up a Logitech cordless optical mouse last month, I'm very impressed with it, no more tangled cord.

Cool

I prefer Logitech cordless trackball. Very easy on batteries. This PC gets used a lot and last battery was put in February 10.

Cool

For me between those two I would get to Logitech.

Maybe someone that has that particular MS model will report on battery life to help in your selection.
