Fan Connector Broken, or Fixable?

I have a Abit BH6 motherboard. It is an older motherboard, slot 1. But that is really unimportant.... What I was really wondering was that my CPU fan 3 pin connector doesn't work. So I have my CPU fan plugged into chassis fan connector. Is there anyway I can reactivate this CPU fan connector. Or is it blown out for some reason?? Thanks.

Probably broke forever, but there is nothing wrong with running the fan off the power supply and with some of the newer fans it is better to run them off the power supply.

Another option would be to get a 3 to 4 pin power adapter to connect your existing fan to a power supply power lead.
