MOBO Temp is 37*C/98*F
I'm told that is not good. What should I do?
Also, CPU is at 53*C/128*F... ...? Last edited by KlumpDud; 03-16-2003 at 02:17 AM. |

If this reading is from the BIOS then it could be lower, however if this is a readout from a temp monitor utility then do not worry about it.
If the computer is not locking up or rebooting then you do not have a temp problem no matter what temps you are seeing or what somebody else thinks the temp should be! If you have a software temp monitoring utility installed get rid of it. And from what I have seen on this forum the best cure for questionable temps is to use the computer and quit looking at them. As I have said so many times I cannot remember now, What is hot to humans is not hot to electronics. I am sitting here at work surronded by electrical and electronic equipment that is rated for a max temp of 80 deg C above ambiant which means that it normally operates above 200 degs F, and it has not failed in the last 15 years. |
