Peltier cooling

Apparently Peltier cooling's far superior to water cooling. How difficult is it to get a setup going? Anyone have any experience w/ it? Thanks

Well You use Peltier with a water cooling system.

One part of the peltier gets really really cold the other really hot. Now the watercooling system isnt trying to cool the CPU but the hot side of the peltier.

there are Fan cooled peltiers but I wouldnt go near it since the fan couldnt cool very well and who know mayber condensation would show on it.

Its rather easy to set up. Usally you can just put it on your water block then install your water block like normal.

Yes, Peltier's can be a powerful cooling solution but they aren't as popular as water or air cooling for several reasons. They're sort of expensive, require a lot of power, they have problems with condensation and there's the chance that the user will install it the wrong way (hot side to CPU, cool side to heatsink or water block) and instantly kill their CPU.

Swiftech has some good peltier solutions for you to check out even a couple air cooled setups.
