what is the difference between a 2.4 ghz p4 and a 2.4bghz p4?

The 2.4 or 2.4A uses the 400Mhz system bus. The 2.4B denotes the 533Mhz system bus. Some of them are the older generation, I would be sure to go with the B. HTH

its definitely worth getting the 533 version, it makes performance way higher.
if you overclock a 2.4B to 2.9Ghz, you get 161fsb overclocking a 2.4A to 2.9 and you still dont get a 133 fsb
