is the asus A7N8X compatible with the 9500 pro radeon

what is this 1.5v only with the asus A7N8X motherboard. I have been researching and found that the particular motherboard in question only supports 1.5v volt apgx8....... is this a restriction? is the 9500 pro compatible? the reason I ask is there is a lot of talk of compatibility issues between some chaintech and asus mobo and 9500/9700 pro cards

thanks

the asus a7n8x comes with a nifty little light that tells you if the vid card voltage isn't supported... but it's redundant because from what i know the incorrect voltage cards won't even fit..

from what i can tell you should be alright, although i've never used it myself. (i'm an nvidiot... or was until the whole geforce fx experiment)

Newer cards like the Radeon are 1.5V/0.8V, so you won't have a problem with the A7N8X.

Where did you hear of issues between the A7N8X and these Radeon cards?

Lots of people are using them with this mobo.

If you are worried about it, then just get a G4 card.
