Lightbulb Two CD-RW on one PC

I have a Cyber Drive CD-RW and a Toshiba SR1200 DVD/CD-RW Combo installed on my PC.

Windows Xp Pro will only recognise one of these at a time as a CD Writer.

If I try to enable CD Recording on both drives it will only allow one at a time.

Does anyone have a suggestion or any idea how I can enable both drives for recording.

I am using the latest version of Nero.
The problem is within XP. If you click properties on the Cd drives you have the option to 'Enable Recording on this Drive'. This should allow you to drag and drop files onto the CD-RW icon to copy them. It is this feature that will only allow me to enable burning on on Drive.

You need to disable that feature if you are going to use Nero/InCD. The full retail version of Nero can even record to both drives simultaneously.

I have the latest version of Nero. What I am trying to enable is 'Drag & Drop' Burning within Windows XP for both drives.

does'nt bundled nero only work with the drive it was bundled with? I seem to remember reading somewhere here that you can not take the nero with your drive and give it sto someone else with a different writer...... Is your copy a bundled one?

I have the full latest version of Nero.
The problem that I have is not within Nero but within XP.
XP has the facilty to 'Drag & Drop' files to your CD-RW icon to copy files to a CD. XP will only allow me to enable recording on one CD-RW at any one time.
Nero works fine.

Have you tried disabling the XP inbuilt burning software and allowing Nero full reign over the burning process.

I believe that Steve wants to use the builtin XP drag and drop burning service instead of Nero and cannot find a way to enable it on more than one drive at a time. I don't know if this is possible.
