Aopen MX4BS audio problem

I have one of these boards and after installing a Celeron PIV 1.7ghz processor and a fresh load of WinXP PRO, I can't seem to get the onboard audio working.

The BIOS is correctly set for onboard audio and I've installed the INF and audio drivers from the MOBO installation CD.

Help !

TIA

What problems are you seeing exactly? Is it being detected by Device Manager in XP? Is there a jumper mentioned in the motherboard manual which you must set to open or closed for the onboard setting in the BIOS to take effect?

Have you plugged in the motherboard connectors for the on board sound to the case? (sounds obvious but plenty of people forget)

HTH. Thanks,

Jim

Thanks - it was the last option.

I had to install 2 jumpers to send audio to the rear panel connector.
