Overclock Geforce4ti4600

Is there a way to overclock my geforce4 ti4600 128mb? Like software to overclock it with?? Would I need a better fan for the video card?? I have the Leadtek version. How much of a difference would I see by overclocking my video card??

you should be able to do the coolbits registry tweak. the easiest way is to copy the following into notepad:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvTweak]

"CoolBits"=dword:00000003

save the file as coolbits.reg, then just double click on it. It will add the line to your registry. Then all you have to do is go to your display properties for your geforce card and there will be an extra tab for clock timings.
***please note that you are changing your registry at your own risk, so it is a REALLY good idea to make a backup first. If something goes wrong, it will be your fault, and no one else's.***
but I've had no problems with it

by the way, since you're new to this i would try just increasing the cpu and memory frequency by about 10 percent at first, and then take it from there...
any damage to your gpu is your own fault because you're making the changes.
