Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop
The little leg thingy that raises your keyboard on my old keyboard got broken last week so I figured it was about time to go and buy a new one. (If you don't have the budget and your little keyboard leg breaks stick a pile of floppy disks under it, it works really well).
I went to Fry's trying to get an identical replacement to mine, because I had grown so attached to it but they stopped making them. At that point I went to the wireless end of the aisle and then settled on the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop which includes a wireless multimedia keyboard and a wireless optical mouse.
To be honest, I am quite happy that they no longer make my old keyboard because I'm really loving this new one. It feels really nice and the button placement is much more convenient (especially the delete, home, and end keys which I use frequently).
The mouse feels really comfortable in (either) hand and the scroll wheel is nice and big, which is great because I've had mice with small scroll wheels and you tend to accidentally push the scroll wheel down as supposed to scrolling it. Unfortunately, unlike my previous MS Optical mouse it would not work on the surface of my desk, which I admit is semi reflective so I now have to use a mousepad.
Overall the combo is great, the price was ticketed at $80 but it turned out to be $65 at the checkout. I give this combo a 9/10.
