Duct Modding for Vocano's

Hey guys/gals

I purchased this duct mod yesterday and I figured I should give my review cause its pretty nice looking and works great. After playing Battlefield 1942 after like 3 hours I check my temps and Im running 1 degree lower than usual idle speed temp. http://www.thermaltake.com/products/...ductingMod.htm

cheers

You mean the active temp w/ the duct was 1 degree cooler than the idle temp without the duct? Do you have a more direct comparison?

Cant really tell since I have 3 extra case fans running. Tomorrow Ill disable the rear and 2 side panel fans and let ya know. If ya follow the link it shows ya what the duct does. I just went into the bios that day and was pretty impressed with the temp. I usually run around 48-50 and it was at 46 or 47.

edit-I had just finished playing Morrowind for about4 hours and its graphicly demanding also and my tem was 46 c 114 f. It actually bounced to 45 c while I was checking.

So how much did you pay for this?

I saw one on sale at www.adamant.com for over $9.00.

Would be nice if you could get it with a volcano series as part of a package deal.

I paid 10$ Canadian for it, so thats like 7$ US. And yes it would be cool as a package but they make more cash this way. Whats cool aboot it is that it brings your fan out about 1.5 " and I have a side fan on the panel that shoots air straight into it.
