Do you have a HP case or a Dell case (I noticed both in that link you provided)?

Remove the power supply from the case...it's easier to work in the case without the power supply getting in your way.

With the HP case, I think you just have to remove all the screws holding down the motherboard to the mounting tray. There may be metal latches that the motherboard is caught under...you have to tilt the motherboard in order to get it out from these latches. It might be easier to work in this case if you remove the drive cage assembly first. There's a latch above the 5.25" drive cage area that you pull to release the drive cage assembly. You have to grab the drive cage assembly from the front of the case and pull it out from there (you might need to rock it back and forth to get it loose), the whole thing comes out.

With the Dell case, you have to look at the back of the case for a screw below the card slots and remove it. It secures a metal motherboard mounting clip that's holding the motherboard to the case. Once the screw is removed, you can pull the motherboard out.

I have a similar HP case, but I'm not sure if it's exactly the same one you have and it's been awhile since I looked inside of it...but I remember it did take me a better part of an hour trying to figure out how to take the darn thing apart (can't stand those weird name brand cases and all their little quirks). You just gotta look carefully and try to figure out what's holding you back. They got the motherboard in there somehow...there's a way to get it out.

Look at the edge of the motherboard near the back of the case...do you see like 3 or 4 thin metal "fingers" spaced out along the edge? Those are like guides to hold the motherboard in the case. You have to tilt the other end of the motherboard up and pull the motherboard toward the front of the case to get clear of the guides. If you don't see these "fingers", then your case is different from the one I have.
