Fan controllers?

I was in the market for one of theses addons http://www.vantecusa.com/nxp201.html and was wondering if all case fan speeds are adjustable? I dont want to starve and burn out the fan. I know my HSF will be ok since it came with speed control (its recommended not to hook up speed controlled fans) but will other fans work as well? One is a Thermaltake case fan and the other 2 are Sunbeam trillights. Thanks

Yes, all case fans are adjustable. It will also make the leds in fans glow dimmer.

The occasional fan might not be able to start up at lower voltages, so if this is the case, all you need to do is start it at full power and then turn it down. Once it is started the fan will turn at a lower voltage than is required to start it.
