Anyone know how to make a window?

hey anyone know how to make a window for the side of the case? like how to drill the side of the case for a window if you got a tutorial or osmehting please post it thanks.

Hi t0y,

The easiest way is to buy a premade window kit which comes with the window and rubber lining. Then just trace out the window shape onto the case panel and cut it out using a Dremel tool. Here's a good tutorial with photos. Hope that helps.

if you are using a dremel, if at all possible practice cutting on something first.....spare piece of scrap metal....and use reinforced cutting wheels....the #1 thing wear eye protection.....

If ya dont have a Dremel tool just use tinbanger snips to cut your panel. For trim molding go to your local car dealership or automotive store (Pep Boys type of thing) and get some chrome door trim (nice) The only tricky part I encountered was fastening the plexy glass to the panel so I used thoses little screws that come with case fans.

Also, if you don't want to pay for precut acrylic, you can usually get a pice for free at a local plastics store or something like that. I got a perfect 1' square of acrylic that way.
