Hello,
I have just purchased a new case with a 350W power supply. in the front of this case it has wiring for 2 USB ports. The Motherboard that I have chosen is a Soya. and it already is set up with USB ports in the back of the pc. Where at on the motherboard would I connect the wires on the front panel USB? If any were. Thanks for the help. |

Should be an IDE cable for them...

Look in the manual for your motherboard. If it says it can handle more than the 2 USB ports, then your in business. There will be metal studs like the ones where you connect the power leds and such. They will be labeled USB. If your mobo doesn't have these ports, you won't be able to use the front USB's.

Your motherboard should have pin-outs for the front USB ports. The Soyo manual should tell you where the pins are on the board and what the pin-out is.
The USB pins will be in two rows. Each row will have the pins for one USB port. …. ….. One row will have an extra fifth pin. If you don’t have the manual try here http://www.soyousa.com/ |
