Okay I'm kinda gettin pissed off at my new computer. My brother has constructed numerous computer before, so I know it's most likely not his fault, but I have a PC with Windows XP Home Edition running on it and whenever I'm in the middle of a game, it just shuts down on me for no reason. It doesn't have a certain time when it does it and it doesn't seem to have any rhythm to it but it just shuts down with no warning... I'd like to know what's wrong with my computer so I can actually finish my stupid games! Could someone help me out?

Hey soccerpunk
![]() I noticed you aslo posted this question in "General Discussion". Its not necessary to cross-post your questions here, someone will usually help you within like 5 minutes. Plus it makes it harder to keep track of where the discussion is, confusing to you, and the people trying to help you.

Does it only shut down during one certain game?
All games? Any other time? Also, welcome to PCMech!

Could be possible power supply going out, motherboard, RAM, or video card. Hard to tell. Do you have any more information?
