Enlarging Fans?
Does enlarging your fans really give you a significant boost?

It doesn't increase the cooling, unless you get a fan with a higher volume and if you don't pay attention to the fan's CFM specs you could end up with it being hotter. What these adapters do for you is let you use an 80mm or 90mm fan which is going to be quieter than a 60mm putting out the same CFM.
