fqpissed Cd-Rom Troubles?

Ok Fellas,
Here is my problem. I tried to install Roxio 6, no luck, so I unistalled it. Once I unistalled it, I couldn't open a cd. So I looked around, i can't even get a D:/ anywhere on my PC. When I go to run D:/, I get this message:
d: refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on the hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure the disk is properly inserted, or that you are conecteted to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be loacted, the information might have been moved to a different location.

I have no clue in hell what that means. All I know is I have no cd-rom drive showing?? Please help.
Dell with P3
Thanks

Ok, I did some more exploring, after going through my system device manager, i found my drive. It had the yellow! next to it. I opened it up and found this message:
Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)

Anyone know what I can do now?

GLC, you are a pimp. Thanks, worked perfectly. Deleted the two files, restarted, presto works fine. Thanks.
