Dell Dimension 8200 not detecting HD

I first slaved my hard drive from my dell into my new build to transfer files. Windows XP detected it and it worked wonderfully. Went to put it back into my Dell and booted it up and it told me that Primary IDE Device (the Hard Drive) was not found.

I

A) checked connections
B) tried moving the jumper to cable select, and then back to master
C) different power supply lead
D) new IDE cable that I know works.
E) tried booting the hard drive as master on my new build and no sucess.

What do you guys recommend I try next? Should I try calling DELL, although yah know.
