Question Crazy problem...

I have a Samsung DVD/CD-Rom drive and a Yamaha CD-R/RW burner. If I burn whether audio or data CDs the problem is I can't tell if it was burned or not.

If I insert just burned CD in CD-Rom or in burner it does not register. If I go into Explorer and select which ever drive the rom is in it would say "insert disc in drive D: or E:" If I put the same rom in another computer all of the information is there.

How do I get the computer so sense these discs in the 2 drives? It just started doing this about 2-3 days ago.

Thanks,

Lot of times those type of problems have to do with the particular brand of disk, sometimes the color of the data side or actually the material that different disks use for the data to be written to will perform differently in different drives....Just a possibility, I bought a box of Kodak gold disks and they have undoubtedly been the best ones I've found...They do cost a little more, but like anything you get what U pay for...

Have you tried rebooting after you finish burning?
