Ram Compatibility

With my new comp im buildin I want to get the Asus p4p800 deluxe with 512mb of OCZ EL DDR PC-3700 Dual Channel Gold.

On the asus site it doesnt list this under the list of compatible ram, so i was wondering if i put this ram in would it work or mess everything up?

Tnx

It would work, but it would just run at the maximum supported speed of the motherboard.
Are you planning on overclocking at all? That is some good ram for it!
