general OCing questions
ok i got my system built with a Asus P4P800 DLX board an intel P4 2.8GHz @ 800MHz, 2 sticks of Kingston 512MB PC3200, and ATi Radeon 9500 Pro Video Card...
i know how to OC using the bios in the % increments but im not sure how hot is too hot when i do that so im afraid to go too far...at idle it usually sits between 35-38C with stock HS and Fan....should i just OC until some temp...? what temp would that be...and these temps are at idle so how do i get the temps while im running a game or something...is there a way to see how hot it will get??? i just use the PCprobe that came with the Mobo. which brings me to another question... why doesn't the power supply fan speed show up on the pcprobe...i have an antec sonata case with the included power supply and i connected the fan connector to the mobo like it said so...im not sure why it doesn't show up... my other question was how do you/can you OC the memory and video card |

how hot is hot: like someone said, under 50-55 will be fine
stock intel hsf can handle it run 3dmark and check the temp PowerStrip or Rivatuner for Video OCing |

be careful about the voltage, if you up the voltage on a P4, it can suddenly die
