access denied on 2nd & 3rd HDD's
Hi All,
Got my new mobo and finally got my system up again, mainly thanks to people here, now, a little annoyance... My D & E drives, after my clean install (XP pro) won't let me access them, i think I probably restricted the access to just me on the previous install, I cannot remember how, as administrator, I can assume control of these disks, can anyone far cleverer than me help...? Ok , more info, tried to take ownership, but couldn't when I view the drives through admin tools>computer management> data management I can see the drives, file type (NTFS) and each partition size.
However, when i go to right click and take owner ship I get the file type to be RAW...ouch....!!!! Hope I don't have to reformat... Steve |
