cant delete partition
heyas, um im using partition magic 8.0 in winxp pro, was going to run duel boot with xp and mandrake, but decided against it after allready creating linux partitions, i want to get rid of mandrake and expand my windows partition. partition magic sees the two linux partitions and swap, and i delete and secure erase it, when when applying changes, the partitions just come straight back :/ any ideas? am i doing something wrong? (im new to partitioning)

Hmm...that raises an interesting question. If FDISK can also delete Linux partitions, then can XP Disk Management delete Linux partitions and enable you to create a new NTFS partition with the unallocated space?
Has anyone used XP Disk Management to delete Linux partitions and create new NTFS partitions? |

The easiest way to delete any kind of partition is Delpart. It will fit on a Win9x or Dos bootdisk and it's free.

Yes glc,
Also, Setfree over at the Alternative OS forum, told me he had used XP Disk Management to delete Linux partitions and create NTFS partitions. So I guess that answers my question.
