X-Technology Laptop

I was looking around for a powerful laptop that wasn't overpriced, and I checked at Half.com. I seemed to notice this X-Technology Laptop loaded with some pretty good stuff. I want to know if anyone has seen this before, and if X-Technology is a good company to acquire a laptop from. Here's the one I have in mind:

Laptop

Thanks. Also, one more thing. I'm selling my older computer I built a while ago to get this. I was wondering if it would be worth it to switch to a laptop instead of a desktop. I do know that you can get more powerful components for a Desktop cheaper than a laptop, but you can't carry a desktop around as easily. Thanks again.

The specs are pretty good for the price. I don't know about the reliability of the company though.

If you need the mobility of a notebook, then you should get one. Otherwise, if you're going to use it for gaming, I would suggest building a desktop instead.

Well

It seems from reviews that X-Technologies really sucked in their beginning, but they SEEMED to get better. I could be wrong. I'll consider it, but laptops are something that may seem high maintainence from that company. I'll keep my options open though, and I do like that price tag. Too bad I can't find something comparable to that laptop.
