comp stereo
i know there is a way to hook up my comp to my stereo speakers but how do i need a special adpter?

Depends on how you want to do it.
You will probably need a miniplug-to-RCA adapter that changes the miniplug from the soundcard to the RCA cables that you can plug into your receiver's AUX or other inputs. That is probably the simplest way. If your soundcard has a digital out and your receiver has a digital input, you can use a coax cable. |

I just hook the line out from the sound card to the line in on the stereo, works just great, I did use the y adapters so that I still have both at the same time
