Memory Help!!!
What is better to get...2 sticks of 256 mb DDR, or 1 stick of 512 mb DDR?

2 sticks will make troubleshooting the memory easier should the need ever arise.

It's sometimes cheaper to get the 2 sticks. It's slightly better to have just one stick, but if your motherboard supports dual DDR, I wouldn't worry about it.

If you have a dual channel board, only by having two sticks will you be able to take advantage of that feature. Otherwise, it shouldn't make much difference. Running one stick might give a very slight advantage.

Ya, I agree with Gonzo on that. Ifyou have Dual Channel DDR board then go for it.
